October 15-16, 2025
The Sandia Structural Simulation Toolkit (SST) has become a widely adopted tool for parallel discrete event simulation of complex systems. While it has been traditionally utilized for computer systems research, SST has expanded into the simulation of physical systems. This workshop is dedicated to supporting the users, developers and thought leaders in/around the SST community. The 2025 SST User Group Meeting solicits 1-page abstracts for invited talks. Abstracts should be submitted to the EasyChair link below.
The SST User Group Meeting will bring together users and developers of the Structural Simulation Toolkit to facilitate collaboration and support community use and development of SST. The meeting will consist of several different program elements: talks, panels and collaborative discussions. Your participation is vital to the success of the meeting.
To help facilitate collaborations, you are invited to submit an abstract for consideration to present your work/ideas at the meeting through a series of full and short talks. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
- SST components/subcomponents
- Large-scale SST execution
- SST benchmarking
- Co-integration with external simulator(s)
- Studies and research leveraging SST simulations
- Future needs for SST core framework or element models
- Analysis tools for analyzing simulation data
- Characterization of simulation properties
Authors may select their preference for short or full talk, but the program committee will make the final decision on talk length. Please indicate with your submission whether you seek a short talk or a full talk.
Submissions can be submitted to the SST25 EasyChair portal here.
